Aerospace technology

The aerospace industry is one of the technologically leading sectors in Europe and is a driver of research and development for future transport technologies. Lightweight construction, climate-neutral drives, reliable control technology and the communication systems of the future are just some of the areas of technology that are being driven forward by the aerospace industry.

Technical solutions made of plastic are part of these advanced technologies. Plastics help to reduce mass, offer extreme wear resistance in conjunction with dry or emergency running properties, are particularly resistant to corrosion and are indispensable as thermal and electrical insulators, especially in electronic systems. Many of the materials used are subject to special requirements and specifications.

POLYTRON has been supporting the aerospace industry for more than 50 years with parts and components made from speciality and high-performance plastics.
