Technical components made of plastic

Even today, technical components made of plastic are still unimaginable for many people. The term plastic is associated with packaging, shopping bags or toothbrushes, but not with components that have to fulfil technical functions. People simply do not yet believe that plastics can withstand high loads and are sometimes far superior to metallic or even ceramic materials.

Technical plastic components are not only in demand for applications in the automotive industry, Solar and electrical engineering and the general mechanical engineeringThey also fulfil the technical requirements of many areas of application in the Aerospacethe Food, Bio- and medical technology.

Technical components made of plastic can essentially be manufactured using two processes; on the one hand using the Machining technologyin which the components are shaped by machining processes (turning, milling, etc.); on the other hand, with the Injection moulding technologyin which the components are moulded directly from the plasticised plastic under pressure. We offer you both processes, just as it is technically necessary and economically sensible!

As we only manufacture complex and highly stressed components, usually in small batches, machining on lathes and milling machines accounts for the majority of our production capacity. Approximately 70% of our turnover is generated by machining plastic components. Our production facilities offer the greatest possible flexibility, enabling us to respond to almost all customer enquiries.
