Since 1961, we have been developing, manufacturing and distributing a wide variety of components and systems - also as individual items and in small and medium series - from more or less all available engineering plastics.
In cooperation with our customers, we develop, manufacture and sell components and systems made of special and high-performance plastics, some of which can withstand temperatures from minus 270 to over 300°C, extreme mechanical loads and/or permanent chemical attack.
The components are used in machines for food and packaging technology, medical technology, aerospace technology, sealing technology and other areas of general mechanical engineering.
Our corporate philosophy
Even today, technical components made of plastic are still unimaginable for many people. The term plastic, polymer or synthetic material is generally associated with packaging, shopping bags or toothbrushes, but not with components that fulfil important technical functions in machines. People often do not believe that plastics can withstand high loads and are far superior to metallic or even ceramic materials.
We manufacture complex and highly stressed plastic components primarily using machining processes (turning, milling, etc.). The tolerance requirements, the mechanical loads and the wall thicknesses required for these components and, last but not least, the generally small quantities make these processes sensible.
Nevertheless, we also use plastic processing methods such as injection moulding or extrusion to manufacture technical components. Injection moulding can be a considerable economic advantage for large construction batches and the high-performance plastics that are usually used, which often incur material costs of more than one hundred euros per kilogram.
We often combine the different manufacturing processes; in order to save material costs, uniform blanks are produced using injection moulding, which are subsequently machined to shape and tolerance. We optimally combine the advantages of both manufacturing processes!
Just as we combine different manufacturing processes, we base our technical plastic solutions on the experience we have gained over the years and the resulting expertise in the areas of application, plastics and production technology.
Thanks to the tens of thousands of applications realised with engineering plastics over the years, we have an extraordinary knowledge of the usability of plastics under extreme conditions and can therefore provide our customers with optimum support when selecting materials.
In addition, we have extensive knowledge of almost all engineering plastics available on the market and their availability and processing options. Our expertise is rounded off by our extensive manufacturing know-how, which covers not only the plastics used in-house, but also almost all common plastics manufacturing processes.
The fact that we highest quality requirements fulfil, goes without saying. Accordingly, we have been more than 30 years via a Certified integrated management systemwhich combines the requirements of quality management, occupational safety, environmental protection and health and safety at work, and Requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001 and 14001 fully met.
At the beginning of 2020, we then decided to take our integrated management system to a new level in order to meet the more stringent requirements of our customers in terms of processes as well. Due to the requirements of our Aerospace customers we have decided to focus our IMS on the Requirements of EN 9100 with the defined scope of application
